My name is Tom and I have put together the Schedulizer over several years. All the PHP and HTML is hand done and I don't do this as my day job so please excuse the simple and/or slow site.
The Schedulizer was created out of my frustration of not being able to see and compare teams schedules at a glance. In 2007 I put up a simple website with all the college football games in a grid.
There were no options. The next year I added many of the features you see today including custom teams, length of schedule and choice of images. I also made the site update everyday. While not quite "live updates" it should meet most needs.
Since 2008, I have not made too many changes as it seems most of my wants and requests from users have been met. See the Features list for more details.
I am always looking for ways to improve the site and love to hear from folks who use it. I take interesting relevant feature requests and try to implement them fairly quickly. Here are some of the top
features I am considering.
Way to sort games by anticipated "best matchup of the week"
NFL schedulizer
Android App
Allow for ordering by conference for multi-conference groupings
Drag and drop table rows to rearrange the order
Transpose the table so that weeks are on the rows and helmets are along the top
Dynamically drag rows to reorder table
Monitor how a team plays to expectation (using point spread)
I'd love to hear from you. Send me an email:
You can also asked to be added to my mailing list. It is no more than 1-2 mails a year (I hate spam too). Usually just letting you know when the site is live for the next season.
We are also on Facebook. Checkout the group if you get a chance.
